Scott Brooke

Tim and Scott won the PIAA State Doubles Championship in 1970.  In 1972, Scott partnered with Mark Darby and they won the WPIAL Doubles Championship.  Scott was a 2-year letterman on the HS basketball team and received the Paul Jones Award his senior year.  He received a full tennis scholarship to California State College, where he continued his winning tennis career and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

He coached tennis at the legendary Harry Hopman International Tennis Academy in Florida.  This experience fueled his passion for coaching.  Under Mr. Hopman’s guidance, Scott exceeded his goals and coached in Japan, Italy, India and other parts of the world.  Scott coached many professional tennis players and helped student athletes to get scholarships. 

Scott was the personal traveling coach for tennis professional, Greg Rusedski.  He had the opportunity to coach Greg at the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, US Open and numerous secondary tournaments.  Rusedski made it to #3 in the world. 

Scott attributes his development as a player, coach and person to his mentors and coaches - Paul Jones, Ed Snitger, Dave McIsaac and Doc Zinke.  He has aspired to be like each of them.
